Green Bay, Nova Scotia is a very special spot. It’s one of my favourite spots to go on the East Coast. There are 3 beaches in the Bay which include Crescent Beach, Rissers Beach and Green Bay all of which have unique characteristics. Crescent Beach is one of the only beaches you are allowed to drive a motorized vehicle on and it’s a long wide open beach that can get some great waves. Rissers Beach has a campground, nice boardwalk, a canteen, ice cream shop, public washrooms and life guards. Green Bay is a little quieter and spread out. There is not a lot of parking, however there is a canteen / restaurant. The biggest attraction to Green Bay is the cottages that are available for rent, majority of them operated by MacLeod Cottages as well as some private ones.
Here is a video we took from a fishing boat that we took on a tour around the Green Bay and Lahave Islands area.
